To-Read List

22 Jan

I’m sitting here after work trying to think of a decent blog post to publish on here, and all I’m thinking about instead is how I would like to get back to my books.

(And video games, actually. Rachel and I are in the middle of playing a Professor Layton game. Anyone else play those?)

If you follow my Goodreads, I have a couple of books on my currently reading shelf, “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy and “A Dance of Chaos” by David Dalglish, which I’ve been mentioning a lot lately. I love those books, but then I think about all the other books I want to read and all the books that I could want to read, ya know?

Here’s a few ideas of what kind of stories are on my mind:

Do you have any idea how dangerous it is to work in a bookstore? You see all these books that are just begging to be bought and read! My birthday is coming up and I’m doing my best to resist buying anything new to see what I may get as presents.

What’s on your to-read list?

I think I’ve said somewhere before I don’t make to be read lists, I grab whatever gets my attention as I go. Right now I just starts Lost for Words. But The Monuments Men and How Not to Write A Novel also followed me home from the library this week. Does that count as a to be read list? LOL

Everything on my shelf is on my to-read list. I’m trying to avoid buying too many more books until I finish some more on my shelf. Failing so far, but at least I’m trying.
