Camp is A-Go

01 Apr

I’m sitting here going back and forth between working on my Camp NaNoWriMo and exploring WordPress with two thoughts going through my mind:

  1. Why can’t I seem to type?
  2. I could really use a s’more right now.

Who else is doing Camp this month? Rachel is an early bird and already got 2k words on her project. I woke up, derped around on the computer, went to work, and just recently came home to open up my word processor. At the moment, I have 266 words on whatever this project is. I left it in the middle of a sentence right after a badly misspelled word when I decided to post here.

This is how I work on my writing projects. Distractions abound, but I usually end up returning to my novel, haha! How are you doing with your writing?

I’m doing camp this year, but I haven’t even begun yet. Luckily it’s the first day. I’ve already decided that tomorrow I’m locking myself in my room until I get caught up or ahead of schedule. Good luck!

Finished yesterday on track in terms of word count, but I got a bit lost in the existing unfinished story I was working on and ended up writing scenes a bit randomly. Planning to use the month to turn it into a cohesive whole – somehow.

It’s funny how easily you get so distracted, lol.
