Camp is Tomorrow

30 Jun

Well, crap. Tomorrow is July 1st, the first day of another Camp NaNoWriMo session. Do you know what you are writing yet?

As per usual, I don’t.

I got awesome responses on my Random Ideas post last week, but I don’t believe I’m in the right mindset to write either of those. I may continue on with the little story I’ve been posting for Sunday Scribbles. Those characters are starting to feel at home in my head.

What are going to write?

I feel you on this – I thought I knew what I was going to write, but I’m thinking of doing something completely different. The day before, and I’m flipping through a million ideas. xD Sounds about right.

That’s me on a normal basis, haha! I am the poster child for all pantsers!

The best thing about being ahead of the US (I’m an Aussie) is that it’s already July for me! Hehe. I’ve started writing, but at first, hours before Camp started for me, I was worried that I wasn’t going to like what the outline I had was. Best to keep pushing!

To paraphrase Dory: just keep writing, just keep writing, just keep writing, writing, writing… I hope your story likes your outline enough to help you push out those words! πŸ™‚

I didn’t even think I’d participate in camp this July… until last night when I made the decision that I would do at least some revisiing if not writing (because I actually don’t have much time this month). Good luck for your writing!

I love the extra push that Camp NaNo gives us writers, whether it’s writing or revising or whatever you want. πŸ™‚ Good luck to you as well!

I love Camp NaNo! It’s great you can make your own word count goal. Mine is small this time, but I feel so positive about it. I’m working on a series of short stories that are interconnected by one theme. It’s fun so far πŸ™‚

Feeling positive about your goals is so important! I’m glad you’re having fun with your camp nano project so far. πŸ™‚ May the words continue to come easily for you, haha!
