A Bad Thing

11 Jul

So, I’ve been doing really well with my NaNo word count so far. This past weekend, with the Harry Potter marathon and all, I haven’t really typed up any words, but I did count up all the words I’ve handwritten in my notebook at night. I figured, since I wrote those this month as well, I could count them if and when I ever fell behind with my original NaNo story. This past weekend was one such time that I definitely fell behind.

Then I did a really bad thing.

Okay, not really, but it’s something that I never should have done during a Camp NaNo month. I started to play the Sims again.

I know, I’m awful. That game is so horribly addicting that it’s ridiculous. Even right now, I just want to open up the game, but I’m schooling myself to write this post and finish my daily word count before I can play.

Who knows, maybe this’ll be my fastest ever writing session!
