Writing Partners

15 Jul

I’m ahead of Rachel for once in my NaNo word count, haha! That never happens, guys!

I mean, right now I’m behind in the word count for camp because I didn’t write yesterday, but I’m ahead of Rachel. Excuse me while I bask in this glory for I’m sure it’ll be short-lived. Rachel is a planner with a faster typing speed than me. She’ll be ahead again in no time.

Still, it’s kind of awesome for this moment!

Even more awesome is having someone so close to me that enjoys all these writing shenanigans too. Our writing styles and genres can be vastly different at times, but it’s fantastic knowing that we can always ask each other for advice or to help beta-read our work.

So, thank your writing partners today while doing your best to be a good one!
