Playing Catch Up

Everyone. Camp NaNoWriMo is almost over. We have two days to make it to 50,000 words!

I was doing so well for most of the month. My typing speed has increased, the stories that I have been working on have been fun, I haven’t had too much trouble with writer’s block…

Then this week happened. Nothing bad, really, but I was just really busy between work and actually having a social life (I know, right? What kind of writer has a social life?).

Hey, hanging out with friends and, ya know, your awesome writer’s group is all well and fine, but during these past few days, I have had this aching need to write. I worked late yesterday, like all Thursdays, and I wrote later on in the night, which left me sleepy today, but it was a nice little writing session. I’m planning on doing more tonight. I need about ten grand to win.

Ten thousand words in two days? I can do that.

How’s everyone else doing with NaNo? Or even writing in general?

I’m really behind, and I’m not catching up. I’m OK with that though.

You can do it. I believe in you. I won Camp NaNoWriMo and posted my poetry on my blog http://azurebreeze.wordpress.com
