Goodreads Challenge

02 Dec

You know that little widget on my sidebar? The one that says Goodreads and showcases my 2016 Reading Challenge?

Yeah, the bar isn’t filled too much, is it?

I did much better in the beginning of this year with my reading challenge, and I partly attribute that to working in a bookstore at that time. It was so simple to find new books to read and then read during my break and all. Then I switched jobs, one that had a steady schedule but was a bit more taxing mentally, and I found myself in more reading slumps than I would have liked. I realized that I’m able to change my goal, and I thought of doing so at the last minute, perhaps bring it down to 20 books for 2016 or so, but then I’d feel like I was cheating.

So, perhaps I’ll do better next year! I hope everyone else has had a lovely year of good books!

Remember, it doesn’t matter how many books you read. It’s the quality, not quantity!
