I Write Like…

08 Feb

This site probably isn’t new to many of you.

I had found it a while ago and, just for the heck of it, I thought I would try it again to see what famous author I supposedly write like. Using one of my newest writing pieces, this time around I got Agatha Christie.

Both of my sisters have read Agatha Christie and, despite her fame, I never have picked up any of her books. There’s no real reason as to why not. I just tend to drift toward the fantasy and science-fiction section of bookstores and libraries instead of mystery.

Perhaps, though, I’ll pick up one of Agatha Christie’s books, if only to see if I agree with the I Write Like analyzer. Anyone have any recommendations for her books?

What piece did you put into this thing? I can totally see you writing as Agatha Christie. I remember taking this a while ago and got Ernest Hemingway. I believe I put in my very first draft of George? I can’t remember, but I’ll have to do it again.

I put in one of my little fanfiction one shots, nothing that I’ve put up on here or anything. I was really surprised at getting Agatha Christie, especially since I’ve never read her or know her style. But I’m pleased just the same!

Some of the novels you write, you kind of write like her.

I’ll take your word for it. I’ll have to pick up one of her books sometime.

You should. It’d be something different for you anyway.
