Start the Campfire…

20 Mar

Camp NaNoWriMo is around the corner! What are you doing for it?

My project title is current, “IDK.” I had a few ideas for new novels a couple of months ago, but I’m not feeling them right now. Instead, I was recently going through some other unfinished projects, rereading old stories that weren’t too bad in my opinion and getting me excited about their plots and characters again.

Okay, so it was mostly the characters. My plotlines tend to dip and swerve and form loop-de-loops instead of going from point A to point B. Still, they were fun to reread and I was thinking that I would spend Camp NaNo adding 50k more words to a couple of unfinished projects.

Of course, Camp is still about two weeks away, so who knows if I’ll change my mind?

Anyone else out there doing Camp? Any good projects that you’re excited about?

Good luck! Mine’s going to be spent on a non-fiction project which I already have some notes for from last year; it’ll probably end up being a combination of writing and editing.
